Step 2 - Choosing Properties

How are properties advertised?

Properties are advertised each fortnight as in the  CBL Calendar

What do the adverts show?

The adverts tell you

  • the landlord of the property
  • location
  • size
  • rent
  • other weekly charges
  • and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you.

You can access information about the local area and facilities.

Special requirements

The advert also tells you if there are any special requirements about the people who can live in the property such as age requirements or whether the property is suitable only for people with a support need.

We use symbols like these so you have an at-a glance guide to the property

you can bid

  • for up to 3 properties
  • only for property that you are eligible for
